“This tour gives you an amazing view of Hawaii! Our tour guide was on time for pickup and pleasant. The ground is kind of bouldery so it’s very slippery and muddy during rainy season. There are steps only at specific parts of the trail. It is not strenuous in my opinion but we did see a few people struggling due to the how high up you go!”

Park admission and a Leonard's malasada are included. The English-speaking driver handles transport, but no hiking guide accompanies you.

The driver detoured 5he entire bus over to the Lennar's store to pick up fresh Malasad for our party. I was very impressed that they went to that length to provide customer service. Now the hike. Be prepared. It's a very challenging trek up the mountain side and this 65 year old struggled to get to the top. It took us about 35 minutes to reach the top.
